McGrath Maserati are pleased to offer for sale what must be arguably one of the finest 3200GT’s in England.
The current and only owner of this superlative 3200GT purchased it new from Graypaul Maserati in Loughborough after a succession of Jaguar XJS V12’s. Choosing the appealing colour combination of Grigio Touring paint with a Bordeaux leather interior, the options fitted included metallic paint, alarm system, spare wheel, electronic suspension, heated seats with memory function, and a CD auto-changer.
Forming part of a varied collection of modern and classic cars including several Maseratis, the 3200GT has been enjoyed sparingly during his ownership, with a gradual increase in the odometer reading throughout its life. Methodical on retaining documentation, the owner has compiled a comprehensive history file containing the original order form, invoice, and correspondence regarding the purchase of the car, as well as copies of period magazine road tests and a host of documents and invoices detailing his rewarding and enthusiastic ownership of the car. Also on file are the majority of MOT certificates from its first in October 2002 when the odometer recorded just 13,300 miles, and the May 2003 edition of Evo Magazine in which this 3200GT was featured in the magazines Buyers Guide article (the car has also featured in other publications such as a July 2020 edition of Classic Car Weekly).
First maintained by McGrath Maserati in April 2007 when the odometer recorded 32,500 miles, we have carried out regular maintenance on the car since, ensuring it is in superb condition.
During the last few years the use of this wonderful car has been limited to about 1,000 miles per annum, so the decision was recently made to part with it and McGrath Maserati are delighted to be able to offer it for sale.
